Hi,
I'm testing this smart high-side switch.
This IC max current is 6A.
Vs pin = 24~26V
EN = 5V
ILIM = 24Kohm to GND.
Theoretically the current limit should be 4.16A
when I put the load on the Vout, setting the current over 4.16A.
this IC should hold the current 4.16A.
until temperature exceeding the permitted value
Overload and short to ground detection
BUT!
Actually ,when the load current over 4.16A, TPS1HTC30-Q1 didn't hold the current
Instead, it quickly shorted out and the temperature rose to over 140 degrees Celsius.
what am i missing or wrong?
