There is no corresponding boot source code and routines in the AM62L FreeRTOS SDK. Could you please inform me if there are corresponding routines and documentation for booting from SPI flash when using the FreeRTOS SDK on AM62L? Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I am using FreeRTOS, and the link you provided seems to be related to U-Boot; moreover, there are no source code examples included.

Hi,

Support for SBL or any other similar boot code is not added in the FreeRTOS SDK for AM62L, because in case of AM62L, ROM supports dual stage boot, so you can utilize RBL to boot your application as well:

You can flash the Pre-bl at 0x0 offset, (it is located at tools/boot/sbl_prebuilt/am62lx-evm/tiboot3.bin), and flash your application image at 0x80000 offset, to boot from OSPI using ROM Bootloader.
