如何启用dm6467硬件看门狗

想给现在用的dm6467板子增加硬件看门狗，看到dm6467 datasheet中有看门狗硬件，也看到上位机MontaVista安装目录有davinci_wdt.c，请问

（1）如何编译davinci_wdt.c，用什么样的makefile？，TI官网有样例吗？

（2）在应用程序中，不通过看门狗驱动直接访问看门狗硬件，可以实现吗？ 请问有从哪里找到样例？
