After all configurations are completed, the DCA1000 Setup sometimes fails to connect (FPGA version: 2.9). A successful connection may be achieved after a reboot.
After a successful connection, the error Timeout Error! System disconnected may occur during data acquisition.
If only the file path is changed after a successful acquisition, the error Timeout Error! System disconnected will most likely appear during the next acquisition.
During debugging, I tried replacing the PC, Ethernet cable, power cable, etc., but the issue remained unresolved.
I also attempted to downgrade mmWave Studio by one version, but this did not help.
Flashing the FPGA firmware to version 2.8 still failed (furthermore, I cannot find the version 2.9 firmware, so I cannot revert back to it).
Finally, I borrowed an identical hardware platform and tested it on the same computer.
With exactly the same hardware and software setup, the problem only occurs when using our DCA1000, while the other DCA1000 runs smoothly.
We have been trying to fix this issue for about eight months, and it still has not been effectively resolved even after referring to various tutorials.
