LF412: How to set amplifier model tolerance

Part Number: LF412

I am trying to perform Monte Carlo simulation and worst-case simulation on a filter circuit.

The tolerances of resistors and capacitors can be modified.

But can the tolerances of core components such as operational amplifiers or other power chips also be set? If so, how can I set them?

  • Hi

The PSPICE and TINA SPICE amplifier models internal parameters are not adjusted by Monte Carlo analysis. Monte Carlo will is frequently used to adjust resistors and capacitors in their tolerance range.

Maybe offset, and bias current can be modeled by including an external DC voltage or current source and setting the tolerance to allow for the variation according to the amplifiers specification. You can take a look at PPT below.
